The family wanted a relaxing spa getaway in their home, with views of the nearby mountains.

PROBLEMS: The only area available was an old dilapidated greenhouse, accessible only from stairs on the outside of the home.

CREATIVE SOLUTIONS: A grade-beam was added so the new hot tub room could be accessed by a french door from the lower-level guest bathroom. Walls were reframed and a new floor was poured. Now, the retreat features 15 electric Velux skylights, Marvin awning windows, and a new single french door with a tall clerestory window.

Custom-cut Chameson limestone tiles were applied to the floor and walls. Fiber-optic lighting with Swarovski crystals and trompe l’oeil murals enhance the walls and ceiling — and the skylight reveals! Speakers are built into the walls to complete the totally relaxing experience.

TESTIMONIAL: Diane and I spent two weeks shopping for all of the products for our new home before I went back to Germany. She made it possible to work with my husband and me over long distance.

Her communication skills and attention to all of the details helped us achieve the unique transformation we wanted in every room of our new home. She worked with the contractor to make everything ready for us, with no problems.
