Additions and New Homes
Every room of your home is like a member of your family: a unique expression that fits into the “package.” Living spaces design is important, because it affects the “flow” of your home, including attics, basements, dining and living rooms, family rooms, and bedrooms (whether they’re used as bedrooms or not). You live in your home dynamically. As you move around, you see the transitions from a different perspective. Diane Plesset can show you what you will be experiencing, using virtual-reality views from multiple perspectives. Her goal is to listen to you, inform you about all of your options, and create plans for an environment that satisfies your needs. Here are some favorite projects. Each picture leads to a slide show page that describes the project. See the “Before and …” page for other addition and new-home project not photographed yet.

The 1979-style living room was brought into the 21st century with an updated color scheme and materials that include limestone flooring, and a custom grey and yellow marble fireplace.
Dismal is the only word to describe the original basement laundry. Now it’s delightfully welcoming and features a Vetrazzo recycled cobalt blue glass countertop, and custom cabinets.
An original greenhouse was converted to a custom hot-tub room with electronic-sensor skylights, custom trompe l’oeil wall murals, and fiber optic lighting with Swarovski crystals.
