New Focal-point Wine Room
The original house was architecturally interesting because of the many angled walls, but the angles created problems for the original builder. Homeowners disliked a wasted triangular room adjacent to the main hallway and the kitchen. Space was borrowed from a large adjacent den, to create a new focal-point wine room , conditioned area that holds several hundred bottles and a custom cigar humidor. Its proximity to the kitchen makes entertaining guests a joy, and it adds visual interest as guests enter the home.
