Popular styles from the 19th and early 20th Centuries (1900-1959). Includes Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Bauhaus, Frank Lloyd Wright's Prairie and Usonian designs, International, Japanese, and Mid-Century Modern.

1970's Home. Homeowners wanted a large shower, more storage, and a place to display their favorite bronze sculpture of dolphins. DESIGNER'S SOLUTIONS: The existing shower (in the separate toilet room) became a new linen closet, and new custom cabinets were designed specifically for personal-care items. A lit display niche became a major focal point in the shower, designed to comply with codes. A stylized waterfall was painted on the end wall, to look like it flows into the tile "stream" on the floor. This bathroom won two national design competitions.
1970's Ranch Home. The homeowners disliked the chopped-off appearance of their home from the driveway; their bathroom and closets were too small for their needs. DESIGNER'S SOLUTIONS: An addition created space for a luxurious master suite with a comfortable two-person shower, custom cabinets with wonderful storage, double lavatories, two sitting areas in the spacious bedroom, and larger windows with a glorious view of the cascade range. Careful manipulation of the space gave the couple two walk-in closets. This project was featured in the "Oregonian".
New Home. Guest Bathrooms and Master Bathroom in a home, inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright's Usonian architecture. (1) "Universal Design" guidelines and a restful color scheme were used to make the bathroom comfortable. The KWC glass faucet is a favorite feature of the homeowners and their guests. (2) Custom bas-relief murals by Meredith are the focal point, a symbol for the home's name, "Evergreen". (3) His-and-Hers master bathroom. 2009 "Best Home" Excellence Award from the Portland Homebuilders' Association.
